The NY Mayor is gun-control guy for sure, but he can't reduce the number of guns on street. It is impossible. So the crime rate down can not be because of gun control. It may even rainforce the idea that more guns does not mean more crime.

In Virginia, gun ownership goes up by 70% and crime rate goes down clearly shows more guns does not mean more crime, even if the crime rate going down is for other reasons.

You are right that I never have total freedom and never will. However, gun owners like me will not give up more freedom than we already lost.
