lobster's claws are similar to we human: right-hand and right-hand. One of the claw is bigger and powerful than the other and it can be used to crush, fight and wave signals. This is called asymmetry. Whether left claw or right claw can grow up to the crush one depends on the environment, i.e., stimulation, so 50% of the lobster are left-claw. Most of all, asymmetry is not inherent from genes.
