　　中国媒体炒作的一例

　　刚刚在新浪网上看到一条消息
（http://news.sina.com.cn/w/2004-12-25/12084625882s.shtml），是黄慧婷
写的，说美国宇航总署（NASA）科学家23日表示，地球在25年后可能面临毁灭危
机，因为有一颗编号“2004MN4”的小行星可能会撞上地球，而“地球毁灭的时
间点”，则刚好是一个“黑色星期五”。 

　　我通过检索查到一条美联社的相关报道
（http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20041224/news_1n24asteroid.h
tml），其中还有如下一段话：

　　"This is not a problem for anyone and it shouldn't be a concern to 
anyone, but whenever we post one of these things and . . . somebody 
gets ahold of it, it just gets crazy," he said. 

　　"In the unlikely event that it did hit, it would be quite serious. 
We're talking either a tsunami if it hit in the ocean, which would be 
likely, or significant ground damage," Yeomans said. 

　　这里，Yeomans是披露这个消息的科学家。

　　Yeomans先生在这段话中，显然是说，所说的“小行星可能与地球相碰撞”，
在实际上是不太可能的，不过如果真的发生了，后果就是严重的。令人惊奇的是，
《上海青年报》这篇报道作者，能据此写出了后果严重的一段，却对“不太可能”
只字不提，但是却能忙里偷闲不忘记，在原文的星期五前面加上“黑色”两个字。

　　以前我们曾讲到中国媒体的炒作，常常故作耸人听闻之笔。《上海青年报》
2004年12月25日的这一段消息，可以算是此中一例了吧？
