李四光不是第一位在nature上发文章的中国人。
汤佩松院士在1936年就开始在Nature和Science上发文。
另外，中国科学家在1979年之前，在nature上大约每十年发一文章的说法也颇可疑，因为
光汤佩松院士一人，在1945年，1948年，1957年就在nature上发过三篇文章。
汤佩松院士在Nature及Science上发表的文章如下（其它的“国际著名杂志”文章未列入）：
